My 8k GT350 is quiet upon start up and gets bad after its warm. It's rhythm loosely follows the RPMs and you can hear it beyond 2k RPMs.
The dealer said it was normal changed the oil but no difference in the noise. I drove the car for 400 miles and sent a sample of the Motorcraft oil for analysis and it came back clean (see attached).I cut the filter open and saw nothing abnormal in the filter. The way the thing is banging around I was sure there had to be metal contact.
I would assume that 400 miles with a ticking that suddenly materialized would have put something in the oil but as you can see it pretty good.
Any thoughts?
