Anyone else’s steering wheel make this noise when you turn it? I’ve looked it up but keep seeing threads about turning the wheel and a noise coming from under the car, this ticking is 100% coming from the interior. Is this normal? If not, what’s causing it?

I bought the car new and it now has 2300 miles on it, it’s been making the noise since day one. Didn’t think much of it when I picked it up but I’ve been starting to feel that somethings not right with it.

Everything works and feels normal, but the ticking noise is constant. I haven’t taken it to the dealership yet, I want to see if it’s normal or a simple fix first, otherwise I’ll take it in.

Nope. Mine will make a faint electric noise at times...much like our other cars.

My V6 did it, but not quite that loud. My only guess would be the clockspring.

It's the clock spring probably.

Just to update the thread, took it to the dealership, they replaced the clockspring under warranty and the noise is gone.
