I'm a mechanical Engineer and our company has an in house machine shop as well and they are a bit slow. I have a couple ideas for some custom parts I'm going to be designing for my 15 GT, and throw them some work also...The first part is a better seatbelt tamer, that strap blows.... I'm going to be making some prototypes out of Aluminum and then some from other metals like Stainless, and Titanium. My goal is to potentially market these as well as other custom items... Wondering also if anyone has ideas they want to turn into reality let me know maybe we can work together?

Im very jelly of the manual guys but only because they have so many options to choose from when it comes to shift knobs. I know its a bit more complicated for the auto transmission but I would still love to have some shift knob options.

Definitely in the shift know. Mine started peeling already. Ford is replacing it under warranty tho. Wouldn't mind swapping it out tho.

What about oil filler caps, radiator caps, dip stick handle. Under hood dress up stuff.

Awesome Ideas! As for the illuminated shift knob, I had that idea as well. My thought was to have it light the shift pattern and a brighter light illuminating the current gear... I'm dreaming a bit.

Go on... The seat belt position annoys me on a daily basis, especially now with heavier coats on.

I want THIS shift knob...

The funny thing about that grip is, I actually work on that specific part lol. I've always thought about taking the broken ones that we throw away and doing something stupid like that lol

Update on the seat belt tamer:

Preliminary design is complete, prototype for fit-up is being machined this weekend. If all goes as planned, final design will be machined up. Expect to see some pictures soon! Look forward to everyone's input.

Oh and I'm going to be working on a design in metal for the coat hooks, and that cheesey feeling seat back release..
