This surging "concern" is interesting to me and makes the car sound more badass. Is that odd that I would think this?

Just can't get enuff!
It didn't bother me since it's minor surging plus my Z06 has a tendency to do it too... it actually kinda helps particularly to deter stalling. Plus I didn't notice it happening often.

I always warm mine up to full temp, before going anywhere, anyway.

Yes. I'm finding if I apply slow steady throttle for first few minutes when rowing thru the gears (3500rpm or so) it is mininized . It is fine when warmed up. I am driving in 40's 50' temps.

talking about the loading and unloading of the driveline right after clutch out at low rpm?

Only way to stop it I've found is to come completely off throttle.
