So, couple notes after putting some miles on my car w/ the intake installed:
The grommets for the PCV connections on the inner side are giving me trouble. The larger one popped in (not out) partially at some point after installation and I had to retrieve it by removing the intake from the reducer at the TB on the road today.
The smaller connection is also now loose, despite being snug when I originally installed it. I'm thinking of wrapping the connector in electrical tape to make it fit a bit more snugly just as a temporary fix.

Can grab pictures tomorrow. Too dark to do it now.
Keep us updated ... we have not experienced this on our test car.

Best Regards,

TJ

one of my connections felt loose too, all I did was flip the grommet, and problem was solved. hope that helps bud. also there should never be back pressure out of your intake, so you should be safe from stuff being unplugged, or popping out. theres always a constant vacuum on the upstream of the throttle body.

The larger one fell loose at some point today. It could have been as the engine was cooling after the drive. I'm not 100% sure.

I'm keeping a close eye on it.

Edit: And I will try flipping the grommet. Can't hurt to try.

I didn't think they had released the 'no restrictor' tune yet. Maybe I missed that announcement?

@foghat the tune seems to be running fine so far, no hick ups, hard accelerations are fun. I checked their website out and it no longer says any disclaimer on waiting on the revised steeda tune. Just it makes a said amount of power w a "stock tune" they make w restricor. I have a custom tune i guess. Even the file specifies for steeda cai. Maybe im the lab rat?

The tune to remove the restrictor is not completed. I confirmed with Dave last week.

@gsxr1300 dont have it installed, and the tune didnt specify anything about a restrictor. The install instructions just noted it would require a tune to run w out. I filled the online questionnaire for their cai, catback, and 3.73 gears.

@tubalkayne the tune file email just says to give them feedback on the tune. Nothing about having to use restrictor.

TJ didnt say anything about it being unsafe yet, just my warranty is still good and protected

HOPEFULLY SOME ONE AT STEEDA CHIMES IN??

I'd put the restrictor back in, doesn't sound like the no restrictor tune is out yet...
