Hmm weird, there's a hole in your cover where the connector is in mine, wonder if they changed something for 2020? Or if the mechanic took the connector off the cover for some reason and then forgot to reinstall it? Also my car has a vacuum hose near the top of the cover that you can't see in the pic, that also needs to be reinstalled after replacing the cover.

If that wasn’t plugged in would that cause the issues I was describing?

Is the car a manual or an auto? If it has a Lund tune and if its an issue with the tune and the gears just have Lund program it for the 4.09:1 gears.

Try the old disconnect battery for 30 minutes. Then see what happens, let it clear up memory..

My car has a black electrical plug in the differential cover just to the left of the drain plug, maybe they just forgot to plug that back in. You could probably do it yourself in 5 minutes.

That’s the differential oil temp sensor that the PP-equipped cars get, if I remember correctly.

Well OP says his car is a 2020 PP1 manual so not sure why the connector isn't there then - strange.

Are you referring to @Marketplaza . He doesn't indicate it's a PP1 anywhere in his posts on this thread or his profile?

No not yet. Did a FRPP track kit first. The car looked like it was on stilts. Still haven't decided on what next. Car with suspension on.

My problem was finally taken care of. It was the tune all along everything else was done correctly. I just don’t get why the Lund rep I talked to said it was the bdm not the pcm so it wasn’t the tunes issue. But I guess he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. But now that I can drive it normal it’s a totally different ride, I fish tailed in 3rd gear. The pick up now is amazing with the 4.09 gears. Btw do gears give you more torque or is it all about the rpms? But it’s really fun to drive it now.
