Just curious as to what those of you who have multiple cars drive to work, etc more often than not. I've had quite a few different DD's over the years to compliment my first Terminator, Boss 302, 2nd Terminator and 16 GT including:

02 RSX-S
09 WRX
03 Focus SVT
2015 STI
2013 Si - Current, owned for over three years and bought new

I tend to go with a second car that has some fun potential as I enjoy driving too much to drive something boring even with an 800HP car in the garage. Big fan of the WRX and its ability to go anywhere rain, snow, etc without a care. Makes for a fun DD for sure but up to the latest WRX iteration (non-STI) they are pretty terrible for MPGs and the EJ is certainly not without its issues (my 09 blew a head gasket with only a Cobb tune). My wife currently has a 15 WRX auto and it's not too bad considering its a CVT. The Si is a fun little car most of the time and has some added torque that was missing from the pre 2012 models now that it uses a 2.4 for some low end passing capability.

I'm currently looking into MK7 GTIs that seem like a heck of a bang for the buck with an APR tune but putting that power to two front wheels is slightly concerning.

2010 F150 with a 4.6 V8. It's a dog but it makes me appreciate the Mustang in my garage and I would be lost without a truck!

I daily drive a 2000 Mercury Cougar with 250,000 miles on the clock. It still runs like a champ and is a joy to drive.

I daily my 1997 Grand Cherokee Limited with the 4.0L. This thing is indestructible. Only 114k miles (bought it with 105k miles for $1900). I haven't done an oil change or added any oil in 6k miles, so I checked the oil level yesterday. She hasn't burnt or leaked a drop of oil. And she gets good MPGs too!

VW Jetta TDI diesel 6spd manual. Stage 2 tune....300 ft-lbs of torque. Honest 40+ mpg in mixed driving.

Oh, wait. VW has to buy it back.

I plan on keeping the mods reasonable on the Mustang, and DD it. Much more fun that way...

I sold my Mk6 literally a few days after the news hit. Wish I would have kept it, would have given me a nice chunk of change in my wallet with the buyback. I'm still getting restitution money, so that's cool. Malone tune? Are you going to take the settlement or do the fix?

I always try to keep a DD so that I can mod my performance cars - right now I have a 2016 Infiniti QX50. It's pretty awesome. Handles like a car, has awd and 325hp and fits 2 carseats in the back :headbang:

Before that, I had a 2013 Toyota Highlander and a 2013 BMW 335i Vert, Msport

Before that I was DD and enjoying a 2012 WRX, and before that, a 2003 Neon SRT-4 so I could build up my 2008 c6. The dodge was actually a fun car when it was running, but that became more and more rare...Dodge :tsk:

2010 Fusion Sport, the 3.5L is fairly peppy, I've surprised a few people who think it's a run of the mill 4-banger Sedan.

I've got the Gen1 Common Rail TDI, so no fix has been approved by the CARB / EPA.
I'm going to let VW buy it back. I can't pass up the amount of $$$ VW is being forced to buy it back for.

Kind of ironic, I'm going from a 40 mpg diesel to a 19 mpg V8 daily driver. I'm 'sure' that's what the EPA had in mind....
