This comes from a guy who has not purchased a single domestic made vehicle since he has gotten his license over 15 years ago. Yes, GT350 is the first domestic car I have ever bought. I like this car so much that if I were so rich and had an extra garage, I would buy another one. One to look at and one to drive everyday. All my life I have owned Germany's best, but this car, at the fraction of a price, gives you excitement and joy that wasn't possible to feel with those cars.

Just saying:love:

I agree, my previous car was a 2012 E63 amg 5.5l biturbo. With tune and exhaust/intake, I was putting down 640hp,770ft/lbs to the wheels. That thing was a rocket, fastest car I've ever driven, and just as smooth at 150mph as it was at 75. The interior was amazing and the car was just awesome. But this car is a different beast, the term driver involvement never meant anything to me, until now. This is definitely the most enjoyable car I've driven. Not to mention it only costs $60k, and much less to maintain than any modern German performance car. If I was a wealthy man and could fill my garages up with whatever I chose, I promise you a gt350 would be in it.

Until the GT350 a Mazda Speed 3 was the fastest far I have owned.

The GT350 outclasses it in every way. Amazing isn't the right word for it. There is simply nothing else on the planet for under $150,000 that I would trade it for. It is so funny how young boys grab their dad and point. It is magic.

As an S2000 owner, this is one of the biggest reasons I ordered the Shelby. It seems many of the same qualities exist in both cars. It's kind of a bigger, more powerful S2k, with a roof, a back seat, and an amazing exhaust note. Can't wait for mine to come in.

I am waiting for some detailing material to arrive from Amazon (hopefully tomorrow). Car still has all the external shipping wraps etc. The dealer did not wash it, no one even touched the car. They gave me the keys as it was unloaded from the track as per my request.

As soon as I wash it properly and it shines (now its filthy), I will post some pictures:)

You'll be fine, they probably just haven't updated the site.

You know the rules. Pics or it didn't happen. :D

I am actually not so sorry because if I got the 2016 with the small screen, I wouldnt have been as impressed as I am now. A decent amount of my positive impression is how well that new screen is designed, how responsive it is, the general UI, apple car play, climate control features, etc is so well designed. My M5's iDrive looks ancient right next to it.

However, that's probably 5-10% of the experience, the other 90%, the actual driving pleasure - yes you are right, if I was a millionaire and had unlimited funds, I would have bought one in 2015:D
