I bet we've all pulled pout at a roundabout one time or another thinking it's clear when in fact there is a car in your path, it's easily done. Unfortunately these days, and I'm sure I'm guilty of this myself, when you are that car already on the roundabout, you don't always give it the attention you should - you should anticipate that someone might not have seen you and 9 times out of 10 you could probably avoid a collision. I'm sure these days some people don't even attempt to avoid a collision - it's almost like they want to prove a point that you were in the wrong, regardless of the damage and cost. I'm not saying this was the case, but I'm sure it happens.

Hope you get sorted quickly, I can only begin to imagine how painful this is.
i feel about 1cm tall lol. cheers for the support from all of you. had to happen at some point to some one.

on the plus side i get a fiesta as a courtesy car......:brokenheart::tsk:

Hey Paulo, I feel for you. None of us want to see even a scratch on our cars. It takes a while to get over the feeling of injustice that happens with something like this. You just have to know that after a while it will wear off and you can start to enjoy again. :)

Sorry to hear this but it's going to happen unfortunately.
Surely if the cars are being delivered parts must be.

Oh no!
So sorry. I guess it is drive-able and legal so at least you wont be without it while waiting for parts/repair.
The fact is, parts can be flown over from the states in a matter of days, so there is no reason it should be off the road for ages.

I know how it feels! Some scrot in a corsa rear ended my s197 while i was stationary on the M25. I took the opportunity for upgrades - so fitted a GT 500 front and rear end!

Andersen composities do some really nice carbon fibre wings, front ends and bonnets. Perhaps the time has come to mod the mustang and another first - the first carbon front end s550 in the uk?

I was gonna say the same thing but then deleted it as I was not sure it was the right thing to say. But hey, you have gone and said it.

I t would be a good time to maybe fit a trex grill or something....maybe upgrade the DRLs

Sorry to hear this mate, sucks big time
As for parts, don't hold your breath on these,
I tried to order RHD headlights, can't get them, am waiting for a part from USA under warranty, reckon it going to be three weeks minimum.

My dealers GT was the first one in the UK smashed up so at least you dont have that honour!

As for parts i believe it took around 6 weeks to get the parts for theirs, it needed new bumper, rear quarter, boot lid & wheel.

Once you're back on the road it might be worth investing in a dashcam, that would at least have shown him approaching at speed. Glad you're ok though, metal can be repaired, people can't.

When I put my deposit down a couple of weeks ago the head salesman told me Ford have "bent" five of their demo cars already, at least two of them weren't potential customers at the wheel either !

Hope it all goes back together nicely Paulo.
