^^I believe nothing that the bisimoto guy claims. whether its a honda, hyundai or a ford, he is smoke and mirrors. somehow people buy into it
Exactly, just like he thought he went 200mph in the 1/2 mile in a 2014 Civic. Bisimoto was only cool when he actually went fast in a single cammer slammer. Now with all this high HP dyno nonsense he has yet to be to the track.

I have the 5862 on my MAP kit, spools a tad slower than stock by about 300rpms but its got a real nice pull.

Any graphs out there showing the ball bearing vs journal bearing 5862 like the one MAP sells? I would like to see the spool difference on both of those please. I think the 7163 is definitely the spool king but it might be abit out of my price range so I'm trying to find the better spooling turbo from Vargas stage 2 or MAP Ball bearing 5862.
According to Adam the 5558 BB spools about 500rpm's faster than the 5862. I'm looking into that one now.

Contrary to popular believe ball bearing turbos usually do not spool much better than JB turbos. Ball Bearing units really shine in improved transient response. If looking for spool, and power data between our stage 2, and the MAP turbo upgrade. This was taken from the graph on the MAP website, our stage 2 is spooling faster, and making more power.

i have been told that Precision has the best turbos for the money
Many would disagree with this. We prefer Garrett turbos over all others, EFR turbos are also very nice.

That is a very subjective opinion. I personally prefer Precision myself. But can argue that Borg Warner or garrett is every bit as good.

That's cool from what i have been told Borg Warner has the best turbo for the Ecoboost Mustang and the Ford F150 3.5

Again subjective. All the kits pretty much perform very similar. Spool characteristics obviously vary but nothing drastic.

300rpms slower than stock? That is 100% false, more like 1300rpms slower. Stock spools at around 2900rpms where the 5862 is about 4000rpms.

According to Adam the 5558 BB spools about 500rpm's faster than the 5862. I'm looking into that one now.
5558 BALL BEARING spools around 3650rpms based on most of the ones I have been tuning.

Of course it is going to make more power, your stage 2 doesn't flow that much less than the 5862 JB that is being used on that graph. Plus, that graph you used that was on E20 PUSHING it. If it was on 100% E85 MAP's kit with a 5862 will make almost 600whp without a problem, I made 570whp with a 5858 on 93oct+RGA.

From my ball bearing testing you are looking at an average of 300rpm spool difference. On a 6266JB vs 6266BB test I did on an 2.4L EVO it was about 500rpms difference between the two.

That's cool from what i have been told Borg Warner has the best turbo for the Ecoboost Mustang and the Ford F150 3.5

BorgWarner has the best STREET turbo's period. If you are looking to make Big Boy power (700+) I would look to Precision or Garrett.

Our stage two has a better wheel combo than a 5862. In my opinion, PTE 55 or 58 series turbos are a complete waste of space in terms of flow, and spool. You can get a turbo that flows the same or better, and will out spool them. I never see any reason to run a PTE 55, or 58 series turbo, literally ever.
