I'm not a pro racer by any stretch... But I could do a solid 50-75 more ponies under the hood. I have several buddies with GTRs and Z06s and it's pretty much a joke. Dig, roll, whatever I just get flat out crushed. I would like a little more umpff if you know what I mean. Even Randy Pobes (so?) said it on his video of the R.
To be fair with out adm those cars are quite a bit more

I'm no pro either, but I promise you if you use this car for what it was intended for(a road course), you'll find that there is more than enough power. The same GTR's that beat you in a drag race will stuggle to stay with you through the corners. In fact, with a little experience, you'll find yourself outrunning cars that cost 2-3 times as much.

Agreed its unlikely(not being a pro) you can use all the power you have on the track.

They main thing I believe that makes this car so quick around the track is the amount of confidence it gives you. I guarantee a new/novice driver can get a lot more out of this car compared to other similarly powered and faster cars based on that alone.

In my years of driving, I've only seen one road with a traffic light was followed by a 50 mph speed limit. So, where else can you accelerate to 50 mph in 1st?
dude, you from SA and you really need a answer for that, My part of Texas the speed limit is 70+ everywhere in the country of Texas.

The premis was, were can you red line it in First gear. I was pointing out that there seems to be very few places that you are not already driving in a higher gear when it comes to accelerating.

I know there are a lot of 70+ places, but how many 0 to 70+ places.

Why so much desire to redline on public roads and do 0-60+runs. Take the car to a track day (you know, what it was made for) and I promise you can redline it all damn day

you realize your comparing two of the quickest cars available for under 170k right. I'm betting full bolt ons will get the car to 600-630 crank. One guy just hit around 600. In most cases these save weight and don't dork with the balance, nor change the power-band keeping traction so it should be a win win.

Completely agree from what hear and read. Never tracked yet and I know she's a beast and I feel stupid talking about power and yet to hit the track. But man in my area there are super wildabeast cars rolling around town that simply punish most anything that is stock. I like being able to play sometimes

Straight line 520 HP isn't going to beat many cars that street race.

First I didn't bring up redline on a public road. I just think it's not as practical as some say it is.

Second, apparently my Gt350 isn't made for the track. But that's another thread.
