What kind of results are you guys seeing at the track with your Whipple? I had mine installed (after waiting 16 weeks) and took it to SCSN in Vegas 2 weeks ago - It went a best of 10.51 at 132mph with a 1.49 60ft time.

I have 3.55 gears, Circle D converter, catted long tubes with full 3" exhaust, a Lund 91 octane tune and 3.875" pulley. I have a 110 octane/3.375" pulley tune as well, but haven't had the chance to run it in that configuration...

You pulled 132 on true 91 octane? Or with booster?

Yep, straight 91 octane from the pump with no booster. Lund created the tune specifically for that condition as that's the best fuel we have in AZ, and they reviewed multiple full run datalogs without any concern.

Well traded my MT82 17' car in on a 21' 10R and ordered the Whipple with cobra jet intake right away. Was quoted end of February early march and I'm in Canada. Only managed to get 200 miles on the car and now it waits on the Whipple...lol

That’s the way to do it!

I hope you are right about the time frame. I was expecting the wait to be closer to 5-6 months. ESP if ordering during these holiday promotions.

Yeah I'm a little nervous about the time frame myself but trying to stay positive...lol. I ordered everything so I can try and be ready for the summer. Fuel system, OPG/CS, clutches for the transmission, aluminum DS, and I already had full suspension from my 17 car that I just swapped over. Gonna be a long winter here in Canada ...lol

Just Keep the heater on. That's what I do to make working in garage during the winter months enjoyable. Good Luck

I almost didn’t post this but my buddy ordered his from Lethal on Thanksgiving day. It shipped the next day and he received it yesterday, a week after ordering. He ordered the tune from Whipple and had it within 12 hours. He has no idea how lucky he was, though not lucky enough to win the full refund.

we have had a kit here or there where a customer cancelled due to the wait, and we never cancel those orders, we just have them ship to us, usually don't discount them though,

So just FYI, my personal car is a 2018 with an early release 2018 kit. I’m installing a brand new kit on my buddy’s 2018. I just unboxed it all and started pre-assembly work and I just say Whipple has really improved this kit in the last 3 years. I’m a bit jealous. The tensioner bracket is vastly improved, it has bigger port injectors, more intercooler water outlets, better airbox design, redesigned intercooler reservoir, and the intercooler circuit has a better filler bottle, just to name a few.

Good to hear! Appreciate the feedback. I did order the Cobra jet intake with mine but using the airbox may still be considered.

But wait…there’s more! The injector anti-clock plates are way easier to install and the fuel rails are one-piece each with less leak-points and easier assembly.
