  1. Arkansas WANTED: DSS 800hp Left Side Axle Shaft (RA8505X4)

I know this is a long shot as I can't find anything online, but perhaps somebody has a spare hanging around. Let me know if you have one!
  2. Steeda Aluminum one piece drive shaft for 18 and up 10R80 Auto people

I have a Steeda driveshaft in my 2015 6R80 car - It's a big improvement over the DSS as it reduced NVH big time.
  3. Mismatched Axle Shafts - Bad Idea?

Any issues with running a new DSS 800HP axle shaft on the right side, and either a new DSS 2,000HP axle shaft or Gforce Renegade axle shaft on the left side? It's a long ugly story...
  4. Required Upgrades for E-85?

I think a return style fuel system is the way to go as it eliminates concerns on pushing the DW400 past it's limits, and then I don't have to worry about tuners that work with the non-return style systems. Additional Questions: Other than knowing the quality of the E85, what benefit does the...
  5. Required Upgrades for E-85?

In my original post, I asked about the ProFlex Commander (by Advanced Fuel Dynamics) - Does anyone have experience with this unit? It has some great features: Patented BlendSense™ technology adjusts in real time with 30 millisecond refresh rate True flex fuel - switch from gas to ethanol...
  6. Required Upgrades for E-85?

Yep, I would expect it to make around 800. When I go to the track I install the 3.375" pulley (Whipple says 15psi) along with a tune for that setup and then 108 octane race gas. While I would never fully rely on the car's built in boost gauge, it's telling me it makes right around 15psi with...
  7. Required Upgrades for E-85?

Now that I live where E-85 is readily available, I want to convert and run 15psi (Whipple Gen 5) all the time on E-85 - I'm tired of switching out pulley/belt/tune and hunting down 108 unleaded whenever I go to the track. The car currently has 1000cc injectors and a DW400 fuel pump, so I'm...
  8. Performance Shops Near Little Rock?

I'm moving from AZ to the Little Rock area, and need recommendations for a shop to do the E-85 conversion. I want a place that can install the parts, and then dyno tune it. For reference, it's a 2015 Mustang GT 6R80 with a Gen 5 Whipple - I currently have 91 octane/10psi and 108 octane/15psi...
  9. Show and Shine... Post your ride

A photographer took this at a private track rental I ran.
  10. Circle D converter with whipple

When I run the online calculators with total weight and trap speed, it gives me 825HP at the wheels, so it seems to be in line. I believe the rule of thumb is 15psi doubles the HP, so that's in line as well. Different configurations, transmissions, tuners, DA, etc., produce different results...
  11. Circle D converter with whipple

Vegas definitely isn't the fastest track around as the elevation is 2,000ft - I don't recall what the DA was, but it wasn't ideal. Additionally, my tunes aren't super aggressive as I'm more concerned with longevity rather than shaving off a couple of tenths. I'm not sure what mph you expect...
  12. 1/8 or 1/4 mile times for 2015-2017 Mustang GT Whipple Gen 5 stage 1 ?

See signature for setup. It's gone a best of 9.92 at 139mph in Vegas on the 15psi/Lund/108 Octane tune, and a best of 10.51 at 132mph in Vegas the previous year on the 10psi/Lund/91 Octane tune. I think there's more in it if I could get some decent air, and a tune that didn't shift too early.
  13. Circle D converter with whipple

I was running the pump gas tune when I went through the converter changes, so it was a little different. I remember the 60ft went from 1.43 to 1.45, and I lost about a tenth and some mph on the big end when I put the 252mm converter in. That was in Vegas a year ago at the SCSN, and the car was...
  14. Circle D converter with whipple

I have a Whipple and a Circle D - The car originally had a 245mm 4C when it was NA and I liked it a lot, but you could definitely tell it had a loose converter in it. Once I put the Whipple on and got it out to the track, I sent Circle D the data logs and they convinced me the car needed a...
  15. Service AdvanceTrac issues

I just went through this with mine - It started out of the blue, and got worse by the day. I took the car in and it was a bad hub in the rear that had allowed enough play to damage the ABS sensor. I had both hubs replaced (and the damaged ABS sensor) while it was there, and the problem is...
  16. Beware of Lund

Ford20: On the Lund tune at the dragstrip, the car would fall flat on it's face on the 1-2 shift, and data logs showed it was flaring to 8,200rpms. When I requested Lund fix the tune they viewed the data logs and told me my transmission was bad and needed to be replaced - In my mind (and my...
  17. Beware of Lund

To answer your question BassPro, it was a completely different transmission. My original trans stayed in AZ (sold it local for what the core charge was) and I ordered a whole new trans from PBH. I wanted to post up an honest review on their website or FB page, but apparently that's not an...
  18. Beware of Lund

    Check my sig for combo.
  19. Beware of Lund

I purchased a Lund nGauge back when my car was naturally aspirated, and then purchased custom tunes and support when we added the Whipple. They did a 91 octane tune, a race gas tune and fuel drain tune. First time at the track it was obvious something wasn't right as the car would fall on it's...
  20. First passes in the car

The 'flaring' is likely a Lund issue. I have the Whipple Gen 5 stage 2 and Lund did 2 tunes for it - 91 Octane/10psi and 108 Octane/15psi. The 1-2 flared really bad, falling on its face during the shift because it was spiking to ~8,300rpms, on both tunes. The data logs make it pretty easy to...
