The whipple wait

Those are all pretty easy installs. Like building legos. Why not do it yourself and save a bunch of money and know how it’s been done. I don’t trust shops at all. They don’t give a f#%k about your car. I’m installing a new short block with my whipple. Never done that before but looks easy enough.

yea if i end up shipping the whipple to me, i'll work on it with my friend, he's a mechanic and said he could do it, we'd just need to get help with tuning.

lund or pbd make it easy. Upload their base tune and get it running then do some data logging. If it’s whipple tune, you just upload it.

Wengerd is also an option. Personally, went with Lund but have seen great numbers from Wengerd tuned cars and customers are very happy with the customer service.

i didnt ask for any race cams. all i asked/and paid for was to put in the whipple, bmr k member, sway bar. nothing was said about putting in cams or anything until recently when the wrong parts were in. i told them all i want is the whipple and suspension parts put in. i'm not really sure what they are doing/thinking, buying these extra parts then giving me a quote to see if i want to put it all in?
i'll be picking it up regardless in a few weeks with either my money back, the parts, or maybe theyll install the whipple.

Sounds like you need to go down there and see/ask whats going on. They either have you confused with another customers job and are giving you wrong info by accident or they're doing more to your car than you expected/paid for. If they're really busy and not very organized, they may even be mixing up jobs. Either way, I would really suggest to go down there yourself to see. Good luck.

I definitely got my whipple the other day. It’s being installed. I can’t wait. However does anyone have any information on the cobra jet air intake?
As far as coolant hose routing? Install help, tips anything?

Beefcake sent me a shipping notice today for the Whipple - It should show up tomorrow, and I ordered it on 4/29, so that's 16 weeks lead time.

And of course my mechanic isn't available until November to install it, so the wait continues for me...
