Received a call today saying they spoke to whipple yesterday and now from a 12/9 order date they are saying an additional 12 weeks from today... I traded in a C7 vette for it and was being allowed to hang onto it to drive until my car was done. Well now with the added wait they are saying they need the vette so they can sell it and have 3 options. A) keep waiting for the whipple without a personal car for 12 weeks *at minimum seems like* B) Swap to a roush phase 2 (no wait time) or p1x (4 week wait) C) Get my money back for the kit and pick up a stock 5.0

I'm getting ready to email beefcake and see what he has heard. Starting to get pissed as whipple seems to be stringing customers along. exactly how I'm feeling... this has been my 3rd push back and I'm leaning towards just getting my money back and getting a beefcake vortech kit

I could. It just sucks because I'm out of state so it makes it much more of a hassle then if it was just an hour away from me.

How far is the car from you? You could probably have it shipped to you then ship it back for the install

About a 9 hour drive; shipping estimates were about 1k ... so we are talking 2-3k between getting it and sending it back multiple times

There should be an option for a refund on some of these cases at a certain point, or at least offer a % discount to make things right. Be interesting to see if you got that 8k back if you requested it - and wanted to cancel the order. These dealers should be doing the leg work to keep dudes informed on the status of the order, not the customer constantly asking for updates on where is my order.

update today, all kits from november are out 12/1 kits should start shipping this week, a 3rd mold was also added for gen 5 cases. Whipple hopes to be shrinking the lead times really quickly

Not saying I don't believe in what your saying because your obviously a very credible source... it just sucks because that's completely opposite from what i heard from Lebanon today. Im stressing over an order I placed on 12/9 being told 12 more weeks from now and being put into a bind.

Terry aka beefcake offered me a refund 2 weeks ago, but I held off in hopes of getting it by now. But it sounds like it might be on its way, so I hope all is good.

That’s not accurate. I ordered through Lethal 11/28. They called Whipple today, I’m 2-3 weeks out. Not concerned with it, was 40 mph blowing snow today here.

Well - that really sucks. I will be into July if that is case as we ordered end of December. We have the chiller installed which sucks worse or else I would have simply swapped it with a P1X or D1X. VMP Odin is a TVS unit and I am not a roots fan. Did I say this sucks?
