The whipple wait

No love for me yet. Maybe it will show up randomly or maybe I’ll get a tracking number this week. Crossed over 11 weeks, really hoping to get it. Planning to get started asap.

Everything came today except the head unit, that's still in Nevada. Kind of weird that the boxes are that separate. Some people said they didn't receive tracking numbers. Maybe you'll have a nice surprise waiting for you when you get home from work.

talked to whipple today, they expect to have all black friday orders by the first week of march out. over 600 orders came in over 4 days, the majority of those being mustang / f150 gen 5 kits, and they simply cannot build the cases quick enough.

they are doing everything they can and they know everyone is frustrated, but i'ts a great product and youll be very happy once you have it

talked to whipple today, they expect to have all black friday orders by the first week of march out. over 600 orders came in over 4 days, the majority of those being mustang / f150 gen 5 kits, and they simply cannot build the cases quick enough.

they are doing everything they can and they know everyone is frustrated, but i'ts a great product and youll be very happy once you have it

Thanks for the update. We're looking at a foot of snow were I live so I'm sure my stang will be grounded for a few more weeks.

Got mine a couple weekends ago but got the wrong fitting for one side of the fuel rail in my kit and have been waiting for the replacement part. Whipple express shipped it to me for over a week ago but winter storms keep delaying it and the wait is killing me. Car is all good to go I’m just waiting for that one part to start it up!!

Looks great bud. I think your situation is more frustrating than mine! Glad to see you also replaced the radiator coolant tank to get rid of that eye sore.

Good news is my unit shipped on the 23rd and arrives on Mar 1st. 181 lbs of goodness! Bad news is the only way I knew was because I registered my name and address in the Fedex app to track any shipments coming to my house. I was assured by the vendor the tracking info would be relayed to them, then me. I have since sent them a message making sure they are aware that it is not as they expected and a more common occurrence than any of us are comfortable with. I highly recommend that anyone still waiting on a delivery to register with fedex. Steps to do this:

1) goto fedex.com
2) create an account
3) goto "fedex delivery manager settings"
4) make sure your address shows exactly as you entered it in the order
5) enter your name as it shows on the order along with "alternatives" for nicknames or abbreviations

Once set you goto "advanced shipment tracking" from tracking pulldown menu. or you download the app and login. It shows all shipments without having to enter the tracking information based on your address. From what I can tell it only shows shipments in the list after the date you created the account so historical information will not be there....so if it already shipped you may not know.

This portal also allows you to leave instructions or change delivery rules which is nice if you are not going to be home and need to hold it at the processing center.

Mine came in and has been on the car for about a week now. Definitely worth the wait.
