I have seen this before in the High Desert - it was very temporary because a tanker was coming in that night to refill. The experience scared me enough to occasionally call a station before I go to confirm they have E85. I think this is rare and I bet a tanker was on its way to all three of those stations to replenish. But thanks for the tip. Thankfully there are quite a few E85 stations around San Berdo.

Arco and the 76 still do not have it available. However the chevron did.

Take a look at this: The button states "85% Ethanol" instead of the usual sticker that says something like "51-72% alcohol" or whatever. Interesting - they are representing the high alcohol content now.

Bringing this to the top - the surge in E85 prices sparked concern that the increase in price could be due to Increased gasoline/decreased EtOH content. Not the case - A reading tonight -> 86%.

The increased cost of E85 is due to good ol' fashion price gouging. Nonetheless, I was happy to see this:
