I'm sending this to the top because there is a new station in the High Desert - where it has been very cold lately - yet the reading was high (>87%). Gotta love it.

That G&M Chevron just three lights north of Auto Club Speedway / Fontana, CA is excellent. 87% last weekend, paid I think $2.35/gal

A lot of S. Cali E85 stations price went up a ton to 2.69 at some stations.

I'm not happy about the price hike, but given the choice between that, and $12.50/g race gas, the extra quarter isn't killing me.

If you haven't already, try an App by your gas company (I use the Pearson one) which is really nice if you're driving a wee distance where a few miles out of your way isn't a killer. Some stations are 30-50 cents cheaper than the others.

That's not too bad, actually. Still, at 3-4x the price, is your performance improved that much? I consume about 20 gal/day on the track, so $400/wknd is too rich for my poor/frugal blood. With the endurance car I've got, two 55 gal at the race gas price give nightmares of bill collectors

I run a blend, never straight race gas. Normally 2 gallons VP101 and 2 gallons of Cali E85. Gets me near 94 octane. No way could I afford straight race gas

I've been testing for almost 2 years now and through 2 winters and it's remained remarkably, consistently high. And in CA of all places. Gotta love how the Gen3 Coyote has a fuel system up to demands of running "true" E85.

And that's a perfect place to fill up before a track day.

*E85 ALERT* Shell stations are now offering their own E85 (not Pearson or Propel) called "Shell Clear E85". It tested high - like everywhere else, BUT, they are charging ~$3.90/gallon, which is well over $1/gal more than Pearson or Propel. Check your Pearson or Propel Apps for cheap E85.

I randomly filled up at the Shell of Murrieta Hot Springs and was blown away by the cost. I usually fill up at the 76 off of Temecula Parkway and it always has good prices and tests well.

Yup - That used to be a Pearson station, but I'm sure Shell is selling their own brand there now. Next time you test a sample down there (Temecula) let us know the reading and I'll post it up. Thanks.
