WARNING: This shithole in Corona still has pumps with broken card readers: 76, 2240 Compton Ave., Corona 92881.

I have avoided this place for this very reason. The last time I was there was 10 months ago and their card readers were broken then and they STILL don't work! I went back to see if things are OK - nope - you have to go inside to pay. PITA. The E content is fine, but there are better places close by such as: Chevron 996 Mountain Ave., Norco, CA 92860 - more E85 pumps and cleaner and nicer.

FYI, some 76 stations have their own brand of E85. Here's one I found:

Ontario Mills 76
4350 Mills Cir, Ontario, CA 91764

I use 2 or 3 stations in my rounds. One in Calimesa, one in Fontana, and sometimes the Chevron off of Oak Valley in Beaumont, CA.

I'll get them all tested for E content and advise back.

My car is twin turbo and runs exclusively e85. Never had any issues with any of the stations listed above and right now, the Fontana location is the cheapest at $3.15/gal.

There are two stations on Cherry by ACS that make it great for track days.

The one in Pasadena is also 76's brand E85.
Did you test the one in Ontario?

Yeah - it's high - >85%, probably closer to 88%

After starting this project I found out all E85 comes from the same supplier, so it's uniformly high, but it doesn't really change year-round. Even in winter, it stays high.

TTT - Why? Because nothing has changed. Despite cold weather (down to the 20s in the HD), the readings remain high. Good deal for us E85 aficionados.

Here's a relatively new location that may not be on everyone's radar: 76, 4688 Temescal Canyon Rd, Corona, CA 92883

Of course, readings remain >85%

Wow, over 6 years of running a 5.0 on E85 and nothing has changed. Still high

Does anyone know what the Octane rating is for our E85?

Still wants nothing but alcohol - this car is a full blown alcoholic

This guy on the other hand is a social drinker
- just a splash to get up to 93 octane

I have read true E85 is near 105 octane. I do the same bro with my G87.

Some Pearson Fuels locations in SoCal have their E85 priced at $1.85 today, August 5, don't miss it!

It's between 100 and 105 octane on the anti-knock scale, but if you get a racing blend with all the fancy things, could end up being more like 110. Gets goofy if the E85 is blended with gasoline at the pump, vs specific fuel jugs.
