I want a sony a7s II for 4k filming real estate...just haven't bit the bullet yet... car mod problems... for now using combination of zenmuse x5, gopro 4 black, and t4i.

Cannon needs to get a 4k dslr or mirrorless out that can film at least 30fps 100mb/sec...

One question I always wonder is where do you guys host your images? I understand that imgur is a quick and easy image hosting solution, but it compresses pictures that are over x MB. I want to say that Photobucket does as well.
I use Flickr since you get 1 Tb of free storage and can upload original size photos.

Canon is moving away from DSRL + Video devices it looks like. They want you to buy a camera for photography and a video camera for filming. They are lagging behind in the video department. Nikon has a better body for filming with 60fps @ 1080x720 while Canon isn't giving us 60fps full size sensor yet at HD sizes much less 4K.

I just sold my Sony a6000 a few weeks ago and picked up a Canon 6D, which I've been absolutely in love with. However, I'm still getting used to shooting outside of automatic mode myself. Taking night time shots seem to be one of my biggest struggles too.

Here are some recent shots with the camera:

Didn't realize I had pollen on the car during the last picture until much later, lol. It was just one of those "I feel like getting out and taking some shots" moments around like 10PM at night.

Also had a friend's sister help out with a logo since this is her space. Curious to know what you guys think of it too -- a little too much to the pics or if it fits well.

I've been temporarily using cubeupload for my image hosting since they do not compress image. However, there's a file size upload of 5MB and that's understandable. Dropbox works but only serves as a temporary solution as well given that you have X storage space. Haven't tried Amazon Cloud just yet.
Congrats on the upgrade to full frame! I've heard nothing but good things about the 6d. It takes some time to get out of automatic but youtube certainly helps. For night time shots definitely invest in a good tripod. I started to use Flickr again to host my new pics. You will be able to easily post those links to the forum. Plus you get the 1tb of storage.

I tried playing around with video on my D7200 with 50mm f1.8 and found it a little frustrating. The autofocus settings are different from taking photos and not as intuitive. Facial recognition was OK but obviously not going to work on anything other than people(was trying to film my dogs). Also autofocus was very sensitive to the aperture and DoF as shooting at f1.8(was in my basement at the time) completely fudged the AF and it wouldn't work until I stopped down to f2.8 and bumped up ISO.

The 60FPS was very nice though. Will have to give it a try outdoors.

Yeah the DSLR's aren't phenomenal at video, they work better with manually focusing them. Canon has a faster and more accurate photography autofocus and continual focus than Nikon from people I have spoken to that do professional events which is why you always see Canon's at sporting events. I think Nikon is doing a better job with what they are offering right now though on their bodies than Canon is. I'm a Canon guy but Nikon is really bringing some great bodies to the market lately. I can't speak too much on the video side of either though from any experience.

If the market there is anything like here in Nashville, it's a good time to be an established realtor. Houses are selling within hours of being listed if not sold before they are officially listed here. It's insane. We got our current house last year and it was starting to ramp up big time then, now it's just plain retarded. The values are higher than they were when the crash happened in 07/08 now.

yeah it's getting to be nuts here too. it's back to being a seller market and prices are going up....but rates are still extremely low so it all works out.

Turn those treads away from the cameras, unless your intend to show the tread off lol. The details make the difference in a photograph but good photographs none the less.

This is a great piece of advice. Nothing kills a good photo fast than a simple oversight.
