...Don't give me this crap and suggest that the small town dealerships all provide these cars at MSRP and again just shows your lack of knowledge in the real world.

As far as treating people the way you want to be treated, I echo that sentiment and after pretty much 50 years of buying Fords and Mustangs I have come to make friends with many Ford personnel both on the dealership and corporate level and for you to suggest that Ford and/or their dealerships are preying on someone's desires pretty much speaks for itself.

:ford:
If you look back over the past two years of comments on these forums you will refresh the knowledge that many people posting on here looked to small towns predominantly in the midwest for MSRP deals. Using terms like "all" and "crap" denigrates your intelligence as does the "pretty much speaks for itself" provocative rhetoric.

I suggest you reread my post. Nowhere do I suggest Ford itself is preying on people, only dealerships charging ADM. Proof in point and in fact an argument to the contrary of so many here that misunderstand capitalism is Ford's pricing from 2016 to 2017. With so many people willing to pay ADM, why did Ford itself not raise prices $10-15,000? Were they stupid and do they think my comment is the dumbest thing they've ever seen on a forum? Or do they also believe that pricing should be a combination of construction costs and a reasonable profit? Perhaps they have the common man in mind, you know, the guy Henry Ford originally started building cars for? And the GT350 at MSRP, a supercar, is within reach of the common man and kudos to Ford in staying true to founding principles. Add on greed induced ADMs by dealers that do so, not so much. And as an aside, as others have suggested, that ADMs are essential for the survival of dealerships, well that is preposterous. What, if no GT350 had been developed, all those dealerships would go bankrupt?

Given your statements of cars you've owned I presume perhaps wrongly that you are well off and by no means undeservedly so, but moreso than he/she who I would call the common man. Of course even the wealthy do not LIKE to pay ADM, and if they can avoid it they will. But they can pay it. And as so often happens to the wealthy they can lose touch with what it means to be a common man. If you don't think the wealthy lose touch with the value of things to the common man because they can afford to and put those things out of reach to that same common man then I suggest you study human nature a little more closely or look at housing prices in San Francisco. You accept, I lament and post to persuade perhaps only a single person to treat the common man like they would like to be treated. Successful? Who knows? Hopefully Ford itself will remain true to that principle as they have for so many years.

When I placed my order, the dealership wrote on the sales order that my deposit was non-refundable. Personally, it gave me the impression that the dealership is genuine and will honor the agreement. It also prove to the dealership that the buyer is fully committed.

My check was cashed within days of placing the order.

Or they're locking you in with the intent of gouging you on the tailend, which U hope is not the case.

The dealership where I placed the order with was the best. It is a smaller dealer in a small town with an owner/ management that are not driven by money alone. They kept their word and sold the car at MSRP. I took delivery about 2 weeks ago.

I feel like a small dealer would be more responsive If you have 500+ cars on the lot I feel like 2 or 3 350s dont really make a difference to you, dunno if this would drive a higher or lower ADM.
