What is the average interest dealerships pay per GT350/month?? I'm wondering how long until the car starts biting into the dealership's profits, while sitting on the showroom floor.
6 months probably? But if they sell just one at $20k over or whatever, that's enough to still be ahead for a long time.

Easy. Actually it could sit for 6 months and sell at MSRP and they would make a profit even with the flooring costs. THIS not to argue about pricing issues (Msrp/adm) but is pointed out to advise that a dealer is not going to freak because a GT350 sits for a bit.

I hate ADM as much as everyone here but if your thinking that your local dealer is gonna dump his adm pricing after 3 -6 weeks-guess again.

If it's black, like in the ad, I know of two Dallas dealers that are offering the same exact car for 10k over. Rockwall had one and Town East has a black one and a white/blue stripe as of 3 days ago. 10k has been the average around here for the 350, and I know of only 1 350R that sold. (25k over)
TownEast Ford wanted 24k over MSRP when I called a few weeks ago, Central Ford off 75 wanted 10k, Rockwall wanted 15k and came down to 10 after I told them Central ford was offering it for 10k over.

I'm in no hurry, I'll wait for one.

Guess this might be an indication of the real market value of these cars??

Ford typically does not invoice the dealership until a couple of weeks after the Monroney sticker is issued and with the cost of borrowing money being so cheap in recent years sitting on cars is not an issue at least for many months.

I suspect that dealers are not paying anymore than just over $100/month for interest on these GT350 cars so they can certainly hold on for quite some time in order to get their asking price.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just curious but has anyone found one on a lot in Cali with an ADM under 10k?
Yes. 5k over witha little room to negotiate once it arrives

I found one with 5k over back in June as well but ended up passing on it for an out of state deal @msrp. A few others have found similar deals at around 5k over as well.

You don’t want to know
Where does it say it starts at 60?
You're right, it doesn't. But as with any car-buying situation, buyers control the price and drove this one beyond the MSRP. Call it ASM - Additional Seller Markup - and apparently it wasn't high enough for the seller, who ended the auction at 1:26 p.m. today (the day before it expired). I'm guessing he got an offer he couldn't refuse off eBay, so now he doesn't have to pay the fees.

Something stinks here.

That's odd. Supposedly you can't end an auction early if the reserve has been met, which it was in this case.

Message at the top of the listing says ... whatever that really means:

"This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing."
