Since I originally asked the question - "Does anyone know if any of the cars sitting on dealers lots are actually being sold for $10K plus markups? I see a lot of them on Ebay, but don't know IF they are being sold, and if they are getting the markups they are asking" - I'd like to explain why I asked - not to say good or bad about anyone, but to reach a conclusion - especially for those who haven't bought yet - That is: if ADM, such as $10K, is being accepted by many customers, then those who go out and pay it may be stuck with it to some extent......but if most aren't paying ADM's, then those out to buy should try to "dicker-down" .
I see ~400 of these still for sale on the internet. There are some dealers getting them especially in California. The dealer raised mine to 22k ADM, I walked away, searched and found one for $4,500 ADM. I have to drive ~2 hours to pick it up tomorrow but its worth it to me.

I see some paying but less and less. Some have still been sitting at dealers near me for ~3 months now with $30k ADMs.

I was one of the fortunate few when purchasing my 2015 - no admin! Lucky indeed.

I could be wrong but I would suggest that at least 85% of the purchases completed for any 2016 GT350/GT350R's have had an ADM in fact that number may be closer to 90% but that is just speculation on my part.

The bottom line is the overwhelming majority of 2016 GT350 owners have paid some sort of ADM in my humble opinion with a very small minority being able to secure these Shelby's at MSRP.

My exact thoughts on this subject (you beat me to it). ADMs are still there because people will pay it, it is as simple as that. I paid ADM on my car, but have no regrets. The only issue with ADMs is that location seems to heighten the price. Here in the SF Bay Area, ADMs have consistently been 25K and higher (I didn't pay anywhere near that amount), where somewhere in the midwest, 5K or lower seems to be the norm. All of this will play out when the 2017MY comes out as standard track packaged car, and I feel the ADMs will be even higher.

My dealer just called me this AM. Says that 2017 orders open up 4/4 and first build date is 6/2. They want 7K over, not budging. No info on the base price of the car.

I stepped up to $5k ADM on the exact build I wanted with courtesy delivery = am I stupid?
Track pack cars are going to nothing but get more expensive until they are gone. Buy a Track pack if you can find one it is a special vehicle, you will not regret it.

I think the only response exactly that. "So you're telling me that your TrueCar affiliation is a scam?"

Send it to truecar.com customer support and ask if this is the kind of treatment and service that you should expect through their company.

In all fairness, although very ironic and funny, $15k is on the high side. What is national average ADM? Not all but most are paying ADM's of some sort. Did anyone try the truecar and see prices?
