There's some sort of addendum sticker on it to the right of the factory sticker. Could just be "add-ons" though.
On-line ad says:

  • MSRP $46,995
  • Selling Price $46,995
So to me that means no ADM.

You'd be pretty disappointed if you called on all those MSRP GT350 ads out there too.

I wonder if you could actually document and file a lawsuit for this. Bait/Switch is illegal.

LoL ... $35,000 ADM. Then the on-line ad shows the text "CONTACT DEALER FOR DISCOUNT". Watch the video ... pretty funny. Only $93,434!

$199 for door edge guards - WFT?? Are they 24K gold edge guards ?

Capital Ford is where I had miner ordered before canceling my R after 7 months of nothing and no sign it's coming soon. They think highly of adm.
So reality check.
My hellcat waited and got eventual voucher for and 12 months later got my 2016 as a 2016 model but for 4k under sticker. Guys bought them for 20k adm all day first year.
Yeah winner!!!
Truly waiting works unless you truly get it early. At this point if you don't have it you didn't wait 6 months more

I have kept up with most threads, but haven't read through this entire thread, so not sure how many people have posted about something like this.

To an extent, I can see some ADM, in some markets, like 5K over. The excuses of protecting customers or whatever though is bull.

But what really pisses me off and makes me wish I could share with all the world about it and everyone would agree and never buy from a dealership is when they list a car online for MSRP, so you drive to the dealership to see it and it has ADM. And not only does it have ADM, it is 20K over!!!!

So for the few people around NC, I would avoid Capital Ford in Charlotte.
Capital Ford in Charlotte also plays the dirty inventory game. You know - the one where dealers advertise cars that they don't have anymore. I had this experience with them.

If I hadn't fond the dealer I have, I don't think I'd be getting any Ford vehicles at all. I refuse to do business with dealers like these examples above. I'd have a M4 right now if I hadn't found my dealer.

When I first read this I thought, oh a BMW dealership is no different. But then I thought back to the past and I would agree.

I bought a used car for work from a different Ford dealership in Charlotte about 6 years. I went there because my father in law knew the GM and they apparently put me with their best guy and gave me a good deal. When going over the paperwork, there was a $1,700 line item on the breakdown. When questioning the salesmen played dumb like it was tax or something. After arguing about it, as it looked like the extended warranty to me, he said he would go ask about it. During this whole process and while I'm waiting for him to come back I notice his awards and recognitions for being there for YEARS, 10 years actually, and being a top salesman. When he comes back he said it was the extended warranty, which I had already denied, and he had his finance manager remove it. There is no excuse for that or any way he could not have known what that line item was. Had the price of the car not been so good I would've left right then, but I will never go back.

Several years ago I bought a Mini from Hendrick in Charlotte and it was the quickest, easiest process. Same goes for my wife's Acura from Hendrick in Charlotte just a couple years ago.

There was no back and forth, nothing hidden or questionable. It took me forever at Ford to get them to layoff trying to sell additional crap. One no at both Hendricks and they didn't ask for anything else.

On top of that, the service departments are like VIP service areas. I've never been treated so well at another dealership.

The most telling thing to me is when my wife takes her car, they don't try and confuse her and make her buy more things or replace parts etc... The first time she went by herself I was too busy to go with her. Up until this service, I would meet her there to make sure she didn't get ripped off.

Her manual and car called for the 15K checkup or something, which looked to be fairly pricey with lots of things and suggested fluid changes etc... After her car was done they basically charged for an oil change, and maybe tire rotation. Don't remember exactly but it was not the few hundred dollars we were expecting. She asked about that service checkup and they explained how they checked all of it, topped off some fluids but that the suggested replacements in it and fluid changes suggested didn't need to be done and they would check at the next service. That says ALOT to me. They could've easily said it needed to be done. And even if I was there, some of those things you just have to trust the dealership.

Last example. I took my wife's old car, a Mazda, to get new tires a few years ago. Shortly before we traded it in at Acura actually. I then took her car to the dealership to get the oil changed as well along with inspection. She likes the dealership to do it and doesn't trust third party places, so if she's paying I don't care haha. Anyway, while the dealer has the car, they come tell me that the tires are wearing unevenly and I should get the tires rotated....REALLY! I had literally just got the tires changed that morning and they had maybe 30 miles on them. I told them and they were just like ok and walked off. So, emails and messages to management to complain, but that did little good. Didn't really offer an explanation, or solution, just said he would talk to the guys and didn't want to lose me as a customer. A free oil change or something may have helped not lose me but they did nothing.

So it's that type of crap that worried me when she first went to the dealership herself. And I think when I'm dressed in slacks for business and take cars, they treat me almost as badly. Like I just want to throw away my money and I've never opened a hood in my life. I'm only 30, but I've rebuilt from scratch a 67 Ford 289, after tearing down the entire care and engine and putting everything back together. Obviously couldn't hone cylinders and balance crankshaft, stuff like that, but did everything else. And the Mini I bought, I put a ton of miles on for work and right at 100,000 miles the supercharger started failing we thought. Long story as it turned out it was just the harmonic balancer. It had separated at the rubber, causing the belts to spin slower than the engine causing all sorts of problems. So I tore apart the Mini's engine, replaced the supercharger, thermostat, all gaskets, AC pump as it was going out, and even put a smaller pulley and belt to bump up the power. So when they try and pull one over on me as well, I really lose my cool and write the place off forever.

Long rant, sorry. But I agree with your post. I actually haven't had a good experience with any American dealership at this point in my life, including Ford a couple times. But import has been better than I ever thought possible at a dealership.

I will still buy a GT350 because of the car itself. At this point there just really isn't another car I would prefer, that's not 100K or more. Hopefully I find a Ford dealership that makes the experience one to remember, for good reasons and not like my past experiences.

A salesman at Sunrise keeps calling me, when he knows I'm getting one locally for MSRP in a couple of weeks. They have three now and still want $35k over.

Based on what a lot of you said so far, i am curious what you would consider a fair price to pay for a '16 350R?

My thoughts are I would be content with 10k ADM at most.

And you??

"Fair" price would be MSRP. Real price based on what I've seen going on around the country is probably going to be MSRP + $25K.
