I guess today is the day that I contribute to this thread!

Today my 2016 GT350R arrived. I paid an ADM of $4K. I bought it from a dealer less than a mile from me too. An ADM of $0 would have been better, but I'm pretty pleased with how this all panned out.
The convenience factor definitely has a certain level of subjective value. I tried offering $500 over MSRP to a couple of my local dealers with allocations in the hopes of saving myself from having to go out-of-state, but didn't even get a response, haha.

We need more of these success stories. I for one share these threads/posts with dealers to open their eyes.

Hopefully enough word will spread.

I was first on their list (supposedly at least) for 2017... (non R) but never got a callback, even though I called them multiple times.

Be Warned

Considering you can get R's you can configure all day long at $20k ADM, $100-120k is, umm..... optimistic.
Speaking from past nightmare stories from several order placers, you can get on a list, and maybe your dealer tells you a price before its built, but chances are its BS and once he takes your deposit and ASSUMING it makes it to the build ques at the factory (Build ques is closed now for the 2016) once the vin is released he doesn't have to honor his price after you wait for a few months to get it built. Your taking a huge risk. You could and will likely lose the opportunity to buy something that is available now.

I thought it was for a GT R as in Godzilla or Gojira or you know... that one car from Japan. Price is around that, maybe ~$5000 high.

Could people PLEASE post $100k+ Rs in the ADM thread directly. These threads are worthless. There are plenty of dealers out there with Rs in the showroom right now for that price. They're honestly not hard to find at that price.
