Again, it's my GUESS. He didn't say how much he paid, and just told me he's looking to sell. For all I know, he'll sell for $100K. Doubt too many can afford the $100K anyway.
Why would you guess on a price of a car that someone else is selling?? I know a guy who is selling his 1965 GT350. He didn't tell me how much but I think its $500,000. again, he didn't tell me.

Maybe it's a 2015. Then it may make some sense. But trailering a Mustang to car shows? WTF? It's based off of a $20K rental car, come on man.

I do not think any of the 2015 Rs were sold retail. They were all selected purchasers, which mean they could not be sold for two more years.

Maybe on an off chance its a 2015 ?
It won't be a 2015 as those 37 cars are subject to a VIP Allocation agreement preventing transfer of ownership to anyone other than Ford if sold less than 3 years from the original time of purchase.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

All 2015 R's were sold through a regular Ford dealership with the purchaser negotiating the purchase price with the dealership of their choice.

Even all of the many Ford execs and Ford family bought their 2015 R's through local Ford dealerships in the Detroit area with one dealership delivering as many as 3 R's to local Ford employees.

No question that pretty much all deals on these cars were done at MSRP but the dealerships still had the final say as to the purchase price but did not push hard for any ADM's.

Lastly the terms of the agreement is for 3 years and not 2.

:cheers:

That thread is just a fishing tool!
OP tries to feel the interest for it... lol saying $120k than $100k asking was kind of quick!
Either way not giving any information about the car will definitely not help you. FYI in case you don't know dealerships asking $40k above on new cars still have them since they won't sell at that price unless some dumbxxx buys it (which can happen). Already mentioned you can get a 17 allocation without negotiation at $20k over.
So your friend used car is not worth that much. GL

I just priced out a laughably loaded Viper ARC 1:1 and came out to 136K. Totally more worth it. I would have been good at just the ARC Extreme Pack, the Carbon Trim, and the Red Interior Stitching pack and that was 127K.

I guess today is the day that I contribute to this thread!

Today my 2016 GT350R arrived. I paid an ADM of $4K. I bought it from a dealer less than a mile from me too. An ADM of $0 would have been better, but I'm pretty pleased with how this all panned out.
