Do you guys think the ADMs will last for ever? Part of the reason id never pay a large one is if in a year they are gone It will reflect in the resale so you ADM is basically pissed into the wind. That and I find them insulting.
I paid an ADM, did I like it?,,, NO! After driving my Shelby GT 350,,,,,, worth every cent!!!!
My thought I'm only losing money if I turn around and sell the car. I can tell you I will have this one a while!

Id be OK with a small ADM but I'm faced with a ADM and paying for options I don't want on a car half way across the country lol

This is only slighly related but I was wondering the same thing. I used the Boss 302 from a couple years ago as a benchmark and found that most I could find for sale were mid to High 30's to mid 40s for very low mileage. I found an on -line configurator and that suggests that the held a very high amount of the MSRP after 3 years. If true, that would be the best retained value of anything I have ever owned. The amount of ADM paid seems to vary a lot so that will impact things. Even at $10k looks pretty good if one assumes the GT350 is valued after 3 years as well as the 302.
I will tell you from experience owning SVT products over the years that the retain their value well.

If you wonder- check the values of a 2010 / 2011 Raptor vs. a F-150 optioned out to the same price, or the value of a 2012 Boss 302 vs. a Mustang GT optioned out to around 42 k.

That's the best indicator that I know of.

There isn't any reason that this this car will be any different.

I am sure the car will holds its value well but past MSRP? All the examples show retained value near MSRP. The only recent Ford I am aware of still selling above MSRP is the Ford GT (minus the current GT350 market).

used raptors hold value exceptionally well. it will be interesting what happens to them once the new model drops later this year.

I remember when the GT got below $100,000. I was still in college though and wasn't making money :(

Yeah I remember that, some dealers had them marked up initially but some just sat and were sold at a discount. Fun how time changes when no one wanted to pay that kind of money for a Ford and now with the Ford GT they have an application process and a list of people willing to dish out 400k.

I just got a phone call from a local dealer saying he has a MY2017 allocation for a non R ready for order now. Dealership is asking $10K over sticker. Personally, I think it's too much for a non-R but that's just me. Not sure if they will negotiate ADM, but worth a shot asking about. I am just throwing this out there. No gain on my end. PM for more info.

Lol! What is the ADM?
But that one seems to be built already. Should be at the dealership soon.

Im looking through Ebay listings the cars that are auctions are being bid to about 2K over MSRP. Most of these are dealer listed new cars. Most are not selling because the reserve is so high.

BUT based on that a ADM over 2K doesnt make sense. I know ebay has fees but I think they are a couple hundred dollars
