Haven’t looked for a VIN on the transmission or diff. I’ll take a look.

Thanks for the above image. I know I saw it on the block on the 350 and I thought I took a photo of it. Same with the trans. Again, I never saw the stamp on the diff.

I just looked at the trans and diff closely. Both have several QR code stickers. But neither have a VIN etching I can find.
The trans has several heat shields, so it’s hard to see the whole case. But I would guess the QR codes link the trans and diff to the car vice an etching like on the block.

Now that I know where to look exactly, thank you @The Chairman . I was planning on sneaking back to see my car on Monday. If it’s still on the lift I’ll get a pic of replacement engine. Tech is great about letting me look, service advisor seems a bit nervous about me looking. @snake bite might be able to also, he’s a local with maybe a little more influence as a customer than me.

Ok. Here’s the diff QR code’s. The scanner just produces the part number.
The first is on the front part of the case. The second is the back part of the case.

Obviously some combination of gear ratio, type, clutch, etc.
It’s not in a good place to get a clear shot in order to try to read each segment.

I don't know, guys. It looks like 16 mini QR codes in one block and funny thing, the number at the bottom of the graphic has yep, you guessed it, sixteen digits. I'd bet money that's what the translation is.

I searched the internet for that part number and found pictures of that transmission. But no hits for an actual part; not even on a Ford Parts website.... Guess you can’t buy one yet.

Just a quick update, should hopefully be picking up the car best case tonight realistically tomorrow. I seen the supercharger yesterday with concerns about the nameplate of the engine builder. Tech said he could switch the caps but would have to order gaskets because the intercooler is stuffed up underneath there. He’s just going to try and remove it for me. I DONT want to order more part!! Lol but we’re close.
