Its cool the dealer sales staff gets to do it but I just hope not to read a review that goes "i dont know what trim this was but it felt pretty good..."

anyway we're running out of info so please post it later if you can!
Exactly my thoughts. I asked them to let me in the training session, but the declined my request. Boo!! :thumbdown:

Don't worry, I will slightly edit their review by looking at the pictures the provide, I'll be able to tell which trim, model, etc.

Everyone with a date make sure you contact Ford Marketing or your Ford dealer scheduled regarding upcoming scheduled test drives. Followed-up with them today regarding my appointment for Saturday morning since they had not contacted me since July. Was told no new Mustangs would be available. Told Ford Marketing they should be following up with scheduled people to make them aware of this issue and they need to do a better job on this issue.

Why haven't we heard of anyone in here talking about their test drives? I was hoping to read about some..thought a bunch were scheduled over the weekend.

Because there are no cars ready to test drive yet...few more weeks and we "should" start hearing about some.

I'm scheduled to test drive in the 27th at 2 pm. This was set up by ford marketing 2 weeks ago. When he asked if I wanted to u said sure but I doubt it will happen sense no cars have shipped. His response was I show cars in transit. I said are you sure about that sense
Nothing shows that to be the case. He assured me in his system that they were in transit. So we shall see what happens sat. And like another poster said they should be following up not is the customer. You made the appointment and swore it would happen. If it won't you should call to re schedual.

Sorry I should have known that from the orders forum. I guess I was thinking they might have had a few units out there just for test drives. Did you guys get calls to reschedule them at least?

I went through something similar when the F150 Ecoboost was introduced. I had an appointment made through Ford marketing and then a couple of days before that day came I was contacted and told that the test drives had been cancelled. So they sent me a ball cap....
