Took a black 2015 Mustang GT out for a short test drive today. Let me begin with the positives.
The car looks fantastic, far better in person than in pictures as the saying has become.
The interior is a big upgrade. Having said that, there is still room for improvements but at least there is nothing to fell upset by when you pay for and bring your car home.
It's a better car overall, better ride quality, generally better build quality, more refined sounding and driving. Reminded me of an Audi in the drive actually.
Brakes are miles above the previous car in feel, modulation and stopping power.
Power was decent, but not overwhelming although this was an Auto, non PP car.
I wish the exhaust was a bit more pronounced with perhaps the option to open baffles for an even more aggressive sound.
The cornering of the car was improved in terms of mid corner bumps but felt less sharp than my current car
Biggest complaint; hood flex. As bad as a mid 80's convertible the hood juddered, flexed and shakes in the drivers eye view. This is a big problem for me. .
