The car I saw at Galpin the other day had a hood latch issue, where it wouldn't quite close all the way, and I believe I heard of that already somewhere else on the forum regarding a different car.

I believe Zombie said that was the one hiccup with his otherwise terrific GT.

My 05 had that and it was just a matter of adjusting the rubber stoppers. Raised it 2 turns and never had another issue.
+1 probably needing a adjustment. I hope!

I hope so. I wanted to love the car, but merely liked it. Hopefully a manual and the PP will make a difference.
Same here. Just got back from driving a GT manual without PP. I was underwhelmed. Man that is a long hood.
I told the guy to call me when they have a PP in stock.

I just looked over a TY GT Premium at my local dealer, and as I designed the controller four the riveting machines used on the aluminum hood I had to take a look…
After which the hood catch did not seem to want to allow the hood to close all the way! It looks like a simple catch adjustment will fix the issue.

Overall I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the car.

Pulled over, got out to check the latch as that was the initial thought as well. It's almost as if the aluminum is too thin and flutters in the wind, which of course doesn't make any sense. I did direct the dealership to my review here so hopefully they look at it and it is as simple as adjusting the rubber stops as was suggested in this thread.

It is a long hood. But that's on my Pros list as I love it.

Did you guys have it in sport mode? Lots of reviews have said that makes a world of a difference.

I now have over 300 miles on my '15 and have not noticed any hood 'Flex'. I know that '08/'09 Mustang owners have complained about hood shake, but I don't know if it was a issue on the recent Mustangs. So far my hood has been very stable, although to be honest, I tend to look well beyond the hood when I drive. :)
