I’m sorry but I just cannot take this article seriously.

  • Mercury has the best drivers in the year analyzed. Mercury drivers had 15.82 incidents per 1,000 drivers nationally — less than half the rate of incidents among Ram drivers. Pontiac (16.24) and Saturn (16.84) followed.
Well to be fair if you think about it, who's driving Mercury's? Probably retirees. We'll assume mostly women. If you compound that with the fact that you hardly ever see any mercury's on the road you have a recipe for the perfect driving record!!! :cwl: :cwl: :cwl:

I grab this rating and I wipe my ass with it. The Mustang is a safe car (5 star rating all around). Any performance vehicle or any vehicle in general can be dangerous if the driver is a moron or sometimes its just bad luck part of life.

Why is Saturn/Pontiac in there? There aint no Saturn/Pontiac junk being made anymore which explains the rating lmao

No, the SUV (Vue). My wife loves it, and with the plastic body and Honda V6 running gear, they last forever and cost nothing to maintain.... 150k miles and it's like new. So, I have no good argument for replacing it. They are actually escalating in value.

When my wife got sick of sharing her car with my daughter we bought her a Saturn SC2, the three door coupe. A few years latter we did the same for my younger daughter, but this time a SL2. Both car were great and the buying experience, for an American car, was wonderful.
