Hey Everyone -

How are your tech pack seats holding up? I know they are leather on the side and some fabric in the middle.

You like? Dislike?

Thanks!

They are great...
I love them, very comfortable.
The only problem (this is more about getting in and out of the car than the seats) is scuffing up the door kick plates when getting in and out of the car.
When you park... adjust the seats as far back as the will go.

You don’t want to know
In three days of ownership, mine have shown no wear-and-tear at all.

The seat is a long way from outside the car, past the rocker extension and over the door sill, so it's natural to kind of plop on the outside bolster and slide across it to get situated. That will cause extra wear on the bolster, so I've learned to extend my flop. It helps to raise the steering wheel too.

Beyond that, the seats are very comfortable and the bolsters hold me in better than I expected they would.

Hum, i wouldn't use the magic eraser on the scuff plates since it brings everything to a dull finish.

I've used it on my painted wood cabinets to remove some stains and regretted it dearly.

I tried magic eraser on a small section and it will take some luster off the plastic so I don't recommend it.
Now I just use a microfiber and Meguiars plastic cleaner. Very careful getting in and out and as others mention roll the seat back if you can't open the door wide.

Love them. They even work well on the track, imagine that. I always run my session with full cooling. Ahhhhhhh.

Super comfortable. did the drive down from MN in 24 hours and no aches or pains. Be careful if you have jeans/pants with rivets or belts with metal as you can scratch the side bolster getting in and out if you can't fully open the door and aren't careful.

Terrific seats! Comfy, supportive, and really nice looking. Heated and cooled seats are a wonderful touch. It is a bit tough getting in and out and scuffing is a bit of an issue but they are wonderful. I do wished they looked a little more race inspired but you can't fault how good of a seat it is.

I love the seats. They are a little narrow for me, but probably the most comfortable seats I've ever had. They are also great looking, and the heating and cooling is awesome. I've never had heated and cooled seats before, and I definitely feel spoiled by them.

I really like the tech seats, may even miss them enough to put them in the R when it gets here.
