Does anyone know exactly where in the 18 intake manifold the IMRC flaps are located? Are they in the upper silver section of the runners or further down near the head?

I am thinking about running a direct port methanol setup (similar to direct port nitrous) and would be drilling and tapping a nozzle into each runner, obviously trying to do this through an IMRC flap probably wouldn't work out too well. Curious if anyone knows if the silver section of the manifold is a safe area to do so? Only other option would be switching to an IMRC-less manifold.

Thanks!

Right next to the head. They fold up to the inside when open. Surprisingly smooth path when they’re open.

The IMRC's are close to the head. They shouldn't be a problem locked open.
