Vortech V3 w/ Ported ‘18 Manifold 15-17

Hey everyone,

Just curious if anyone has had their Vortech V3 15-17 with the ported ‘18 manifold, 1000cc+ injectors, and stock pulley that comes with the kit, on the dyno.
Interested to hear the power levels of this setup. And decide whether or not to go with a bigger head unit. Looking for north of 600whp, hopefully closer to 650whp.

A v3 will make north of 700whp on stock pulley if you use a 15%-20%overdrive balancer

Like mentioned, all of them are capable of 600+ easily without an OD damper.....

Si will do 620-640 at 8-9psi without breaking a sweat. With the stock manifold.

Did you upgrade your OPG’s?
6-rib or 8-rib?
JLT?
ARS belt tensioner?


I’m about to order my kit, want to make sure I do it right the first time and have minimal issues around 650whp.

I’m about to order my kit, want to make sure I do it right the first time and have minimal issues around 650whp.

I did not upgrade the OPG’s and I used the standard belt provided by Vortech without an ARS belt tensioner. I also used the stock air box per Steeda’s recommendation. I do not drag the car...only a few track days a year. Plus the car is not a daily driver.
