Watched a few and I don’t see the comparison what I hear honestly when I Drive it doesn’t even bring something mechanical to mind it seriously just sounds like something buzzing or vibrating against something else and it’s literally right behind my dashboard I made a shorter video just so you can hear how isolated the noise is https://www.dropbox.com/s/7lb3obcrj97ben5/IMG_1678.TRIM.MOV?dl=0https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...nder-damage-pics-ford-buyback-process.102509/

Yeah I’m headed to dealer tommorow for service and will have a tech listenCould be something loose. Hopefully something minor.
Here is another video I posted in the forum and a guy said sounds like something in the dash as well https://www.dropbox.com/s/y2dntxhgf0wcb67/IMG_1799.MOV?dl=0Could be something loose. Hopefully something minor.
Yup dealer blames my corsa xtreme catback but I still want to fix it any ideas I could try?Not piston slap.......it sounds like plastic vibrating inside the dash cluster
Get under it and move things around or see if there is something that is rubbing, or touching somewhere it could create a vibrationYup dealer blames my corsa xtreme catback but I still want to fix it any ideas I could try?
So you think it’s something that’s actually under my car? Not behind the gauge cluster itself?Get under it and move things around or see if there is something that is rubbing, or touching somewhere it could create a vibration
Just going by the information provided, if you didn’t have that noise until making changes to the exhaust and now you do, that would be where I would start. So you think it’s something that’s actually under my car? Not behind the gauge cluster itself?
I actually tried the same thing parked in neutral and in park through the same rev range and it’s completely silent but I think the load is different when the motor is actually in drive and being drivenJust going by the information provided, if you didn’t have that noise until making changes to the exhaust and now you do, that would be where I would start.
I assume it makes the same sound while parked revving in place, have someone rev it while your outside and see if you can hear it.
Trying to diagnose it from a sound clip is near impossible, as I have already stated they both sounded completely different......to me
I had my phone much closer in the second clip which may give reason to better quality and it sounding different than the first but from what I have heard it just sounds like plastic rattling or something in the dash nothing more and it makes a similar noise in the rear seat area my service advisor and one of his mechanics took a drive in the car todayJust going by the information provided, if you didn’t have that noise until making changes to the exhaust and now you do, that would be where I would start.

What in the world is that? It’s from my exhaust nothing more lolThat's the "2k rattle"
