Sync swap

So do we need a specific Sync3 model or are they all GPS capable, anybody know?
I know they are starting to hit the junk yards and I am about ready to snag one, if I dont go the Tesla Head Unit route.

There are two Sync3 versions, Nav and Non-Nav
