SYNC Communication Error

This morning I get in my car and plug my phone in to get music going for my commute and I hit the media button and I get a SYNC Communication Error. Radio works, I did not try other SYNC related functions to see if it does the same thing. I have the small 4" non nav screen on a base GT. So what is the fix for this? My guess is just to unplug the negative battery cable for a few min and plug back in.

Fixed for now by disconnecting battery for the last 20min.

Next time try holding the power and skip forward buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds. It will do a hard reboot of the radio/sync
