No idea, but let's hope they're planning on a big enough production run to get it off the back burner. I forget how long it took for a small run of specially valved Bils that fit my wife's Subie except that it was a good bit longer than a few weeks.

Vorshlag might have some idea (they've been big fans of Bilstein in the past), or perhaps RaceComp can find out even though they're not a Ford specialist.

On edit, let me suggest that once you have better dampers, you won't perceive the amount of roll to be as much as it is now, even if you don't make any spring or bar changes. This absolutely does count for something.

I keep seeing people say that they have not released yet but isnt the B6 HD the ones that is being referred to? unless Im missing something.

Those are non-adjustable. Pretty sure the ones we're waiting on are adjustable. However, I didn't even know bilstein had an option for our cars, and those would at least be better than FP or Koni Orange dampers, so probably worth a try

Thanks for the reply and yes, I guess I should have included more intent and information

Here's what I would like to do:
PCA on larger road course
Autocross
Other types of road racing
No drag racing

What I have done to the car:
Ford Performance Street lowering springs
Ford Performance Tow bars
Ford PP Lower front Control Arms

stock sway bars, shocks

Desired driving improvements:
Less body roll
Correct understeer
Under power from stop and turning, I get a side sway in the backend (kind of like a wiggle), tires are not sliding, it's more of a sway

Appreciate any help.

John
The Ford Performance street springs are not the same as the PP springs, they are different. What are tow bars?

First, I would do the Ford Performance Track shocks/struts. Don't let the Track name fool you. They are insanely good on the street and will help your car feel way more composed. The stock PP shocks just don't have enough damping especially for an aftermarket lowered setup.

I would do the BMR CB005 as your next step. The main thing you're feeling is IRS deflection which the CB005 will take care of.

I would also do the Ford Performance toe-knuckle bearing. This will keep your rear toe in check while cornering, giving you more precision and and consistency under cornering loads.

After all that, if you still need sway bars, I would look at the GT350 or GT350R sway bars. If it's good enough for the GT350 it's good enough for you. Be careful about getting bars that are too big, as they will reduce body roll yes - but it will hinder independence of the wheels. You want to minimize body roll and keep as much wheel independence as possible. This is why I am a fan of stiffer springs to keep the body roll in check instead of sway bars. But, seeing as you already have those springs and probably don't want to switch, choose your sway bars carefully.

My personal experience with Koni Oranges is that they are not of lasting quality. My personal set lost its paint finish and rusted through to the point of leaking within 2-3 years and the same or similar happened to every other local Mustang running them as well. I lost the original purchase invoice in a house move so the warranty was of no use to me. I replaced with Viking shocks and Strange struts and after another 5-6 years of DD use they are still as good as new.

Agreed. I’m not a fan of Koni, which is why I usually advise against them. I was simply comparing the Bilsteins to them from a strictly performance standpoint... quality and longevity of Bilsteins is what puts them above the rest for me

Viking and Strange are geared more towards the drag racing crowd

Not sure. But my experience with Bilstein for anything out of the ordinary definitely agrees with the waiting mentioned in this thread.

FWIW, when they finally got here, they turned out to be very good. If the Subie's OE dampers had been as good at 100 miles as the Bils are now after 4.5 years and nearly 55,000 miles it would have never occurred to me to upgrade them. A littler stiff-legged in the beginning, most of which eventually dissipated (you can still feel this a little when it's cold outside).

Adjustability would have been the icing on the Bilstein cake.

Guys, quick update. Ordered the lockout kit and Ford Performance Track Shock/Strut Kit. Installed the shocks/struts yesterday but the lockout was on backorder. Getting the car aligned this afternoon. Thanks for your help.
