Swapping out 373s to 331s???

Recently had whipple stage 2 installed on my 2018 GT PP1. I have been hearing from some of the mustang community out there that I should switch from 373s( from factory) to 331s.. Is that something I should consider.. My car is a 6 speed manual( just fyi).. I need some input from you all?? How much does that coat to have done.. Retuning?? Etc.

That is a great idea. The cost will range from $500-$1000 depending on the shop. Or you can just swap out the entire housing.

You will have to use a hand tuner to correct the ratio so the speedometer is accurate

Why is the a good choice, were you using 2nd gear as first with Whipple for good 60 ft times.

actually no,, I am just seeing what some of my options are,, I don't know if I want to start messing around with this. Ya know. ?? The only thing is that with a SG R, PEOPLE have told me 373s are to tall of gearing. ?

At your power level I would opt for the taller 331 gears if I was choosing.

Tuner doesn't work on our cars, you have to use Forscan and update the BCM. Values are listed here.

Manual cars do not need to update the BCM via Forscan when swapping gears. Auto cars have to.
