Can a 2020 gt digital dash be swapped for an analog one without losing functions?

The digital dash lighting gives me a head ache and I was thinking of selling the car and getting a 2018 with analog dash, but I like the auto steer and brake. Can I retrofit an analog dash in or will I lose these functions?
Did any 2020+ cars come with analog dash?

Have you tried different color background and dimming the gauges? I have no idea what would happen but trying a couple of different things may work and save a lot of cash as well as labor.

Thanks for the advice, I have tried all that though. Was hoping I'd get used over the past few months but its getting worse if anything. So dash got to go or the car has to. I feel like there's no other option if I want to get anywhere without a head ache.

This sucks, never sold a car because of the dash before. Are there any specialists that know a lot about the dash and functions or anyone have a wiring diagram?

My 2021 401a GT/10speed auto car has analog gauges with centre digital mid. Also has the safe and smart with adaptive cruise, lane keep assist , auto wipers and high beams and forward emergency braking. Can't answer the retrofit question but the combo you want does exist. Digital dash is not my cup of tea either.

Oh wow. Is it the colors? Animations? Layout? I wonder if there's some sort of filter film that can cover the screen for color or brightness adjustment, if it is that.

That said, I actually prefer the analog dash over the digital dash. Just preference for me tho.

OP I've got an extra analog cluster. 30 bucks plus the ride if you want to try one. It's easy to swap and you will need ForScan to program it to your car.

Blue almost makes me vomit and some of the animations give me something like vertigo with my head spinning. I don't know anyone else that's had that difficulty before so it must be something very few have a problem with.

Appreciate the offer. I don't want to screw up the functions in the car that'll reduce the value of the car. So I'll see if anyone knows for sure that it will transfer the features.

Why I went with the 300A Base GT. Im photosensitive and have the same problem, so the interior lighting and tech was one of my biggest concerns. Had the 101a ecoboost before with the bigger tech screen but even that was a problem driving at night. Anything can be done. But swapping that out would be expensive. Probably better just to trade in the car if it becomes a driving hazard for you.

Yea I put cruise on then cover the dash for now. Becoming a hazard worries me a lot now being photosensitive. I'm going to look for a base model asap.

Trade me clusters lol......Unfortunately I don't know if there will be loss of functions. I do know you will have to program with forscan as mentioned above. At $30 and cost of installation It wouldnt be a bad idea to try and swap gauges you think?? If loss of functions are present you could always put back in the digital cluster right? Wouldnt this be cheaper in the long run.

Just get rid of the car for one that has analog. You may end up screwing yourself financially if you replace the gauges and the odomoter throws an error. A friend of mine did the f150 "plug and play" dash kit and his odometer now reads "NA" on both clusters. He figured it was just an error so took it to the dealership, they flagged it as not actual in the ford database/carfax report. They also advised him that there's no reversing it, as he put mileage on the car without the original odometer cluster and altering it would be illegal. His resale is now in the dirt.

There is a LONG thread about swapping an analog dash for digital. I see no reason it wouldn't work digital to analog.

ForScan will let you set the mileage, as long as the cluster you are installing has less miles than the one you are removing. IE you can raise the miles on a cluster but cannot lower the miles.
