Has anyone noticed much of a difference in the way the car rides between the 2 modes in everyday driving? I honestly can't tell much of a difference between the 2. I've got a 2021 GT PP with Magneride. Is this one of those things were you have to track the car to tell the difference? I haven't tracked my car yet and not sure I will based on what I've read on this forum about brake fade and temps, having do to a cool-down lap every 3 laps or so, etc.

Same here. I only have 10-12 total track days on 5 tracks, so I am not experienced enough to detect small differences in Magneride performance. But in spite of my car having different front springs, stiffer bars, and spherical bearings everywhere, the difference would still be only in MR programming, so I still think I wouldn't notice a difference.

And don't forget - track surfaces are smoother than the street, and so I think that also makes it hard to judge shock performance for us beginner drivers.

Not sure if the MR tuning is the same but on my car it's definitely stiffer in Track than in Sport+.

Yeah, you're right. I recall testing firmness going over my driveway curb.

But I never use track mode on the street or normal mode at the track, so ...

Since you already have a PP car with the Brembo calipers, 15" rotors, and brake cooling deflectors, as long as you put in high temp brake fluid and use some track day pads (I recommend matching those with dedicated rotors for the track as well), you'll be just fine!

You can definitely feel the difference at highway speed when you're on a bumpy road. There's a stretch of Ocean Parkway here that goes from smooth asphalt to concrete slabs with the expansion joints. If I'm in sport mode doing over 70 mph on the concrete portion, my car will at times feel like it's getting airborne hitting the expansion joints. I have to switch back to normal mode to keep control of the car and soften the ride.

You can put off adding an extra oil cooler by short shifting around 6k because that should keep the CHT in check.
