Anyone running a SC with OEM header.
That's the setup I'm considering dring to go for, roush supercharger plus SW catback.
Are there any drawbacks from not getting Larger diameter headers, as I heard that OEM might be problematic and won't be able to cope with the SC on the long term.

Cheers,,,,

They will be fine. There's plenty of people that run stock exhaust with a blower.

I'm on stock manifolds with cat deletes. That's a good inexpensive alternative to headers.

The OEM headers are the route that I am going. I just don't see the huge gains from going with LTH. Just my two cents...

You only need to change the headers is you're going for really big horse power. Mine runs amazing with totally stock exhaust. I bought a cat back system but haven't put it in yet. The Supercharger really makes up for any deficiency of the exhaust.

not really keen on getting the LT headers in addition to the blower , the supercharger alone seems to get more than enough power.
I did place an order for SW Catback H-pipe, had to have it, sounds great and deep.

Thanks for all the replies.

Let's just get one thing clear. There is never enough power, just not enough road.

True , but i hate having more power than I can use, or as you said less road than one wants.

Stock exhaust here as well. And yea I feel like the blower + tune made my car a bit more aggressive sounding.

I am still stock too. All stock except for the Roush SC.
