Three months ago I had a Stage 1 Procharger installed on my 2015 GT. To my dismay, when preparing to remove and clean the air filter, I found that it had disconnected! Now, it was dirty, but I have no idea how long it has been disconnected, and therefore how much crud has been sucked into my actual supercharger.

My question is, is there anything I can do to remove any crud that might have been pulled into my unit, and if so, what?

Doubt any crud lasted in there. I'd be more concerned if it made it into the bearings.

Are you sure it's a crud problem ?

No, everything seems to be working fine, but I am just concerned about what might have gotten sucked in there while the air filter was off, and if there is really anything to be done about it. I am probably just over-reacting, but any ideas are welcome.

Don't think about it. If memory serves, the cai sits inside the fender surrounded by the intercooler in front of the radiator, fender around and wheel lining back. Likely you are fine. 3 months, not bad unless you drove down really dusty gravel roads. You are good!

Mine came loose inside the housing [EB Stage 2 with the AirRaid]. Now I check it all the time. I replaced the MAF after cleaning it first with no difference in my cold start issues. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
