I’ve seen some large discounts on Super Snakes - ie $120k discounted down to $103k. At this price point, does it become more of an option versus the GT500? One large consideration point for me is a 5.2l engine designed from start for boost. But I have to admit it’s got me thinking.

I can say I was on fence of either a SS or a GT500 I went GT500 because I like looks better I also think they will hold value just a little better. Ultimately it was that I have had and wanted another GT500. I have several friends with SS and they are awesome so can’t really go wrong either way.

I know this is going to sound dogmatic, but here goes...

the 2020 GT500 moots the point of a super snake.

A gussied up GT vs a highly engineered marvel.

For the super snake money, you can not only have a GT500 that performs better, but you can have the carbon fiber track pack and spank super cars.

the GT500 is the better car in every way.

the Shelby tuner cars coming down in price is an admission that the value isn’t there in the wake of the 500s emergence.

or... wait for the KR. All the benefits of the Shelby name, but with Ford engineering behind every last bit of it and factory warranty as well.
