Ugh.... the line. I don't understand, for an extra $150 wrap the whole hood and fenders and be done with that line, horrendous.

The line on the fourth photo is so obvious. How would your wife look if she just used makeup half way up her cheeks? "No...Honey...no one will notice you ran out of makeup!"

Pshh, the line is barely visible when in the car and only visible at 3 feet or closer.

Rather have that minimal line, instead of rock chips up there.

Here are some pictures of the SunTek clear bra that I had installed last week. I'm very happy with the results. Just thought I'd post this to give you guys an idea of what this product looks like installed.

What are your impressions on the Suntek so far? I'm getting one Monday. Want to know if I should go through with it. Pros? Cons? I also have a few questions from a few posts up. Would appreciated if you (or anyone) can answer them.

Thanks.:hail:

I am planning to use Suntek as well.

I have a few questions:

- Color fade over time: would the back half of the car look different from the front half? Color would fade faster at the back since it isn’t covered, right?

[No, fade will be equal]

- What is the maintenance? How do I clean it? Would wax work?

[Depends. If you get the basic film, you will wash it as per normal. Use pure caranuba wax, if using sealants be careful of chemical content, or a coating. Pay the extra for the self healing film, it is worth the extra]

- Can I apply a paint sealant (Opti-Coat, for example) on the bra?

[OptiCoat isn't a sealant, it is a coating, and yes you can apply a coating on top.]

- What if I have some damage, how do I get rid of it? I know if it’s a rock penetrating through the bra, then there isn’t anything I can do. But what about scuff or scratches or light rock marks?

[Pay for the self healing film, it will remove minor scratch. The basic, cheap film, you are stuck with it. Polishing the film is a very tricky business, not a good idea.]

- Do you tip the installer?

[No]

- I have a black car. Are there any worries you may have for it?

[No, not really. Just don't cheap out and do an 18" bra, it looks horrendous, do the full front clip, you will thank yourself down the road]

Thanks.
See bold above.
