Buy a new torque wrench cheapskate!Swapped out the winter tires for the summers today. I will confess that I only torques them to 140 ft*lb instead of 150, as my torque wrench tops out at 150 and I never trust anything at the top end of its measuring range.

I do the same, even though my wrench goes up to 250. The main reason is it may be out x percent in either direction.Swapped out the winter tires for the summers today. ???? 14 mm high grade stud... that’s whyBeat the hell out of me Roy. My Passat and 335 were both around 90, and the 235 was a smaller size bolt at 115. The 150 is higher than anything else I've seen, including my truck.
Normally I do the changeover in mid or late April as it can still snow in early April. But I never drive anywhere anymore due to this virus so I'm just gonna change it today. My car hasn't moved for the past 3 weeks except two 5 min drives to the grocery store.Nice. Theres a good chance well get snow one more time and temps are low. I probably wont take mine off for another few weeks. Cant wait!
