I know there's probably a dozen post about this but, share your subwoofer/Amp builds?

I have a 2020 GT stock no subs, but touch screen w/Navi.

I want to add x2 12" subs in the rear and haven't decided on going front facing with seats always down or rear face or even side facing.

What sub and Amp combos do you run? And what other components did you have to buy? With my new work schedule I won't ever have time to install them myself as bad as I would want to so ill just pay a shop to hook it all up but I want to make sure I'm able to give them everything they need so they don't come up with some bs saying oh you need to buy this and that from us first.

I did my own fabrication and install and it’s definitely not for everyone.
I’m assuming you don’t have the stock sub so you don’t have the B&O system? If this is the case then the Rockford Fosgate DSR-1 is most likely your best bet for tapping into your stock signal and creating a better starting point. This will allow you to run any aftermarket amps you want without having to do any splicing or wire cutting.
If you want a cheaper option you can tap into one of the stock signal wires and run them into a LOC or an amplifier with the ability to accept high and low level inputs.

Here is my setup, it’s two JL Audio 12w3v3-4 wired into 2 ohms to a JL Vx1000/1i monoblock amp. The other two VXi amps are running my woofers, mids, and tweeters.
