I have a 2015 EB PP with the bigger radio ,seats, and shaker system with the 10” sub. Managed to fit 2 12” EVL skars with a 30 hz tuned box in it and this exact setup has slammed in a handful of different cars and trucks before but something is definitely restricting the subs from hitting there low notes or something with this car and i’m missing it. Ive unplugged the mic above the headliner and have a LOC from rear deck speakers to the amp. Maybe the 10” sub with the car is the problem or the radio? 😩

The factory setup blocks sub frequencies to protect the rear speakers from damage. Those factory speakers are... not great.
You need to spend some time with the following thread:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/stereo-information-wiring-upgrades-etc.25501/
Looks like the factory setup sends a line level to the input to the amplifier on the factory sub box.

forscan, disable active noise cancelation (its the same code as disabling factory EQ)

I thought that I read somewhere on here that even after doing this, there is still a bass roll off on the rear speakers.

I cannot confirm or deny. I tapped into the original sub source from amplifier itself. but its worth a shot.

regardless it should still be done, its better audio. makes flat eq

Disable ANC first (in every car that has ANC and you want to put an aftermarket system in).
Then don't use a LOC, but the signal from behind the ACM by help of a T-harness. Grab audio enable there, too (with the help of a relay, for US models all necessary wires are in the same plug, 6V audio enable, 12V switched power, ground and all 4 signal wire pairs if needed).
In all Shaker systems of the S550 Mustang the bass roll off is added in the stock amplifier, not the ACM. Therefor do i right, do it once and don't fiddle with a LOC.

No ANC. and thats honestly another language to me even after looking at threads about it. I’m stumped and don’t want to mess anything up more than I should 😂. so my last resort is using my Alpine CDE along with my factory head unit and a Y split aux cable, it can be messy but i’ve done it some times now so it’s good lmao.

Yes they were forscanned out. Went through with my Alpine install and the results were noticeable but it’s not the problem. It will hit the low notes the box will allow now with 60% radio volume 40/45% amp gain on steady solid notes but when there’s a quick mid or even low note the car will literally misfire (read on Cobb) and it will restart my Alpine sometimes. Not sure if i’m trying to pull too much power or there’s too much electrical business interfering in this car 🤦‍♂️.

Yes I should’ve mentioned and will post pics when I can but it’s sanded down to the chassis and grounded where spare tire goes, radio to sanded metal below rear deck speakers. Had our local audio guy look at everything this morning and he’s wanting to try another amp but other than that he is clueless and has installed a couple systems in 15+ s550’s, but without the PP and shaker systems. I love this car but i need my bump 🙃

honestly it has to be installer error or something not being the best compatibility not the cars electronics. ive seen all the post on here, from base models to the pro and b/o models get completely replaced and added/removed and they made it work. not sure though. something could be wired into something that has a trigger sourced of power or something

cant say. goodluck! I hope you figure it out

edit, the base cars dont have any gimmicks at all, its literally just pull out unit, and swap. theres no amp etc already in car. I am betting thats his issue is hes new with the additional components needed. people completely bypass the stock amp all together, dont know the name of the kits but they work for them and they add their own dsp's etc. I wonder if hes shorting somewhere or has the wrong wiring diagram for the amp. I dont know if shaker and B/o have the same exact pin layout either.

I just got a message from you asking if I can call you about subwoofer.

but it says conversation has been locked. Idk what that means. im assuming, its because you have 4 post and it may think you are a bot.

I wonder if you have a weak battery? Did you use a cap with your system?

how much power are you running and hows your electrical? this seems like a different issue than what people were originally looking at with you. You mentioned what subs you are running but didnt tell us anything about what amp it is and what ohm load you are running at. your alpine shutting off and your car misfiring screams that you have voltage issues.
