my comment is mainly pertaining to the comment of them being as good or exceeding the regular ones, which they don't in any metric other than slimness.
To be fair I didn’t compare them to any specific sub, I said they match or outperform full size subs Xmax….didnt say all of them or even ones from the same brand.

This really only applies to those that have upgraded their speakers or used either of these in the past. I am completely changing all of my audio and I have narrowed my subwoofer choices down to two, unless someone throws out one I should consider. My choices are the Hertz Mille Pro MP300 or the Audio Frog GB10. I did consider the JL W6, but it is more expensive and will not fit the set up I am planning space wise. So if you have used either of these subs, let me know your thoughts. I am going for more SQ than SPL.
Its a shame that the JL Audio 12w6 doesn't fit your build. I have 500 rms going to mine and it sounds incredible in my ported box. Its pounds and it's clean.
